The first step of the ISDI Challenge is uploading your portfolio. It can include a range of media such as drawings, paintings, sculptures, performances, graphic designs, animations, photographs or sketchbook pages. You are advised to upload 8 – 10 pieces of your best works. Upload your work in the form of either a PDF file, multiple JPEG/JPG or a consolidated zip file, not exceeding 500 mb. Portfolio uploads can be used by ISDI for training purposes.

Design Aptitude Test (DAT) (100 - Marks Weightage - 30%)
The second step of the ISDI Challenge is the Online Design Aptitude Test. The multiple choice examination evaluates your aptitude and knowledge related to design. This section of the ISDI challenge will be divided into 4 Parts:
1 General Awareness (15 Questions 30 Marks)
2 Logical Reasoning (15 Questions 30 Marks)
3 Analytical Thinking (10 Questions 20 Marks)

The third section of the ISDI Challenge is the Online Interview. After you submit Section 1 and 2, our Admissions team will get in touch with you to schedule and facilitate the interview over a phone call or video call with one of our instructors.

Our 4-year undergraduate Fashion Design course prepares students for a successful career in this exciting industry. The program guides students to study the nuances of fashion design and the different aspects that constitute its system to enable a more comprehensive, responsible and critically creative approach to fashion design. Effective Communication Design is key to the successes of enterprise and industry. Every business, every social campaign and all messaging of community activity needs effective communication design intervention. At ISDI, we help students understand, explore and practice communication design in all its professional nuances — theory of behaviour and strategic use of technology, interactive design, typography, visual design aspects in illustration, photography and audio-visual media, graphic and print design, brand identity and image systems and a whole lot more. This 4-year undergraduate course, helps students better understand audiences and use a variety of innovative techniques across a range of media to reach out and make a difference. Our program enables students to achieve the creative transition between words and pictures, to tell compelling stories through persuasive experiences. Interior designers have the exciting role of transforming physical spaces into functional, comfortable habitats. At ISDI’s interior designing course in Mumbai, students will learn ways to understand the needs of audiences as well as leverage the opportunities and limitations of a physical space to design better interiors. Interior Design (ID), a 4-year undergraduate specialization, has a globally-renowned curriculum and aims to create skilled designers and critical thinkers of the future. Our students learn to design a wide range of spaces, rooted in socio-cultural trends and deep understanding of the society we live in. Nurturing Designers, Strategists and Entrepreneurs, DI is a thought-evoking process which shapes mindsets to solve for the future. Crafted to challenge minds, 11 months at the DI Lab are a game-changer. We believe in the power of design as a process to create impact. Want to solve wicked and perplexing challenges with ease but not sure how? DI dives deep into Design Thinking and Human-Centricity for professionals to explore the innovators in them!
Taking Design Education in India a step beyond, we are co-creating this experience with our students, building the curriculum together. To add to this, the city of Mumbai adds its own flavor, putting across opportunities to pick on the minds constantly. Students get holistic experience, learning not just from Industry Experts but also assessing and designing for problems in their own ways.
Divided into 11 months, the program is divided into 3 semesters - Foundation, Specialization and Application. Being a multi-disciplinary class, every student brings forward a very different experience to the class, adding value to every member. A course designed for professionals, DI is a rigorous time period to alter your thought-process and help you change the way you see things. 5 days a week, classes need work on weekends as well, because time IS running fast, believe it or not!
