  What Skills did you work on for topping NID DAT 2022? How long did you study? What kind of preparation did you follow?

  I am a reader, so I love to read articles, books and documentaries. Most of the information comes from good poets & writers. 2-3 hours in a day is good enough for practice and revision. AFA’s Study Materials and classes helped me a lot while I was preparing for my exam and I am thankful to the Academy of Fashion & Arts (AFA) for providing me with updated study material which not only helped me in my exam but also saved my time and effort for searching desired stuff for preparations.

  I joined AFA in late September 2021, absorbed in self doubt and fear of the exams. However going through the classes regularly helped build me a schedule and discipline to follow to keep up my practice. Online tests and class questions gave a good idea of how the exam was going to be, making it one level more comfortable for us.

  The teachers listen and answer all questions, doubts are always discussed, talks with other college professors gave a platform to interact and gain a third perspective. Overall, the benefit of being in a disciplined routine with such up to date and thorough material helped me cover up the gap of being from a non-design background.

  I never imagined that i’ll be achieving such scores, and I’ll say that being in AFA definitely gave me a platform to improve myself and monitor my growth, with the help of expert teachers.

  I didn't know much about the pattern of design entrance examinations when I started my preparations. AFA guided me about the syllabus and question pattern from the very beginning. The online study materials, videos and previous year's paper helped me a lot in the preparation.   AFA is an amazing institution which will help you hone the passion inside you. The faculty is great and teaches with full passion. The classes are held regularly and doubts are taken as well. the syllabus is completed well in time and revision.

  Tests were held from the beginning both for GAT and CAT. Test series in the end proved to be very fruitful. The study material provided was up to date and precise. 10/10 recommendation. I got an AIR 230 in NIFT, the first attempt in very less time.

  5 stars? Definitely not enough for the place you call home, the teachers you call family creative mind needs freedom, but the one which needs to apply for competitive exams needs discipline. AFA is the perfect combination of the two as we were never really bound by TOO MANY rules and regulations, giving us tension free atmosphere, but then there was also continuous guidance to not let us off track.

  Before coming to AFA I was just one of those aspiring students who wanted to get into only and only NIFT. I didn’t even fill the registration form of any other college. People laughed at me and told me that it was just a pile of wishful thinking and I must keep some backup because let’s face it is one of the toughest institutes to acquire a seat at.

  BUT then I remember Alam sir and Paul sir always reassured me each time I lost hope and guaranteed that I would make it. So it’s not just about believing in yourself. It’s also about the amount of hard work you put into.
