• For the above-mentioned Schedule, LPU is providing the following option to conduct the LPUNEST Exam.
• Online Remotely Proctored LPUNEST exam from home.
• The declaration date of offline exam results may vary from the above schedule. Candidates will receive their test results directly within their portal.
• The remotely proctored exam will be monitored live through various Artificial Intelligence tools and by the invigilators.
• Seats falling vacant after the above mentioned rounds will be filled on first come first serve basis, subject to satisfying eligibility criteria as mentioned in Prospectus.
• Applicants are strongly advised not to wait for the last dates as mentioned above and apply as well as book and appear for the exam at the earliest to avoid last month rush.
• This is the tentative schedule; any of the date(s) and other details as mentioned above is subject to change at the discretion of the University.
• No separate intimation or announcement to any applicant(s) will be given.
• Subsequent Phases of admission will be conducted if seats remain vacant.

LPU ELIGIBILITY AND SELECTION CRITERIA

For admission to Under Graduate UG Design Programmes at Lovely Professional University, you need to fulfil the following Eligibility Criteria.

Nationality

Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for LPUNEST (UG Design )

Qualifying Examination:

Applicants appearing for LPUNEST (UG Design) should have either completed or shall be appearing in 2024, in final examination of 10+2 from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi) or The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE, New Delhi) or State Board or any other Council, Institution, college etc. declared recognised by Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE), New Delhi or any other concerned apex body as applicable.

Eligibility Criteria in the Qualifying Examination:

For admission in B.Sc. (Design) and B. Design

Pass with 50% aggregate marks* in 10+2 (With English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST* or UCEED or NIFT Entrance Exam or NIFT B.FTech or NID DAT.

For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium or an equivalent subject.

*5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmiri Migrants

*The LPUNEST exam offers convenient choices to candidates: Online remotely proctored from Home recommended by the university.

Note:- For B. Design Programs Student can seek the programme transfer to exit after 3 years with B.Sc. degree, subject to fulfilling the applicable university policy and payment of relevant charges.

Sports Activities : LPU nurtures various teams for participation in Association of Indian Universities (AIU) Championships, All India Inter- university competitions and other national and international competitions.

Sports Complex: LPU has 36+ men/women trained coaches to run the sports club. LPU has one of the largest indoor sports complex (1.5 Lac sq. ft. approx) comprising of 12 Badminton Courts, 6 Squash Courts, Shooting Range, Olympic Size Pool, Warm-Up Pool, Diving Pool, Wrestling & Boxing Arena, State- of-the-Art Gymnasium. How to Apply

• Application form will be in a format that can be processed by Optical Mark Reader (OMR).
• LPUNEST Kit consists of
  • University Information Brochure comprising details of Infrastructure, Global Character, Placements, Academics, Student services, Campus life etc.
  • LPUNEST Booklet comprising details of Programmes applicable, Eligibility, Fee and Scholarship, Schedule of Test, Question Paper Pattern, Test Cities etc.
• Application fee once paid will not be refunded.

a.) Option I - Online Mode

Visit admissions.lpu.in and complete the following steps:

1. Step 1 – Sign Up :

   Register onto LPUADMIT(admission.lpu.in) with basic details (Name, Email ID, Mobile No., State, Gender and Password).

2. Step 2 – Payment for LPUNEST Kit:-

   The cost of LPUNEST Kit needs to be paid by the applicant as per his/ her choice. The payment can be made using Online banking/Credit card/debit card / UPI.

   Application Fee:-

   • Soft copy of LPUNEST Kit is `1000 (for Boys) and `500 (for Girls).
   • Printed LPUNEST Kit is `1500 (for Boys) and `1000 (for Girls).

3. Step 3: General Information and Qualification details :-

   The application form details like aadhar card number, address details and qualification details need to be filled by the applicant

4. Step 4: Exam Information:-

   Applicant needs to book the slot (preferred venue, date and time as per their choice) to appear in the LPUNEST Exam. Applicant can also download the hall ticket from the portal.

b.) Option-II: Offline Mode

LPUNEST Kit may be obtained by the applicant from the University Campus or any other prescribed place by paying cash.

Application Fee:-

Cost of Application form of LPUNEST Kit is `1000 (for Boys) and `500 (for Girls) from University Campus or any other prescribed place by paying cash.

Once the applicant has obtained the LPUNEST Kit, application form can be submitted by one of the following methods:

• Manual Application:

  Fill the full application form (OMR sheet) after reading all the instructions as specified under the head “Instructions for filling Application Form (OMR sheet)” and send it to the university in the self-addressed envelope on the following

  Note: Incomplete application (For example: Declaration not signed) will not be processed. LPU does not take responsibility to inform these applicants. Such applicants will not be able to access the LPU Admit. Applicants are hence advised to duly fill the application form and dispatch it along with complete requisite documents in all respects.

• Semi-Offline Application:

  In case applicant is unable to send the hard copy of application form (OMR Sheet), then applicant may scratch the Unique OMR code available on application form(OMR Sheet) and follow the below mentioned steps:

  1. Sign up on LPU ADMIT portal (admission.lpu.in)
  2. When prompted for payment, choose the option of Unique OMR Code (given on OMR Sheet) and fill the same.
  3. After successful submission of online application form, refer the step- 3 of Online Mode option as mentioned above

  Note: Printout of the computer-generated application should be retained by the applicant for reference. All our correspondence including test centre booking and Hall Ticket details will be through email only. Therefore, the applicants are requested to get ready with valid email id and mobile number for contact. No separate communication will be done for the same.
